Mak Secure Protection is the remote monitoring side of MAK Integrated Technologies Ltd. We watch CCTV cameras and alarm panels for businesses across the UK from our monitoring desk. When a site is empty, a camera still sees what happens there, and somebody has to be looking at the pictures when they matter.
Most intruders set off an alarm, wait to see if anyone comes, and then carry on. That gap is where we work. We watch the cameras, we see the movement, we speak through the speaker, and we call the keyholder or the police. The aim is to make a site awkward for anyone who should not be there.
We monitor existing systems as well as ones we install. If you already have cameras and an alarm panel, we can usually connect them to our desk without replacing the lot. If you are starting from nothing, we can survey the site, fit the equipment and take it on.
Sites we look after include builder's yards, car compounds, warehouses, and shops that close at six. The equipment differs, but the routine does not. Somebody watches, somebody responds, and you get told what happened in plain words.
